Is anyone else feeling the absence of random weekday activities that involve World Cup and bars? I know what I will tell you is that I am having a super productive week and feeling super inspired by amazing business opportunities, partnerships, for minding her own business, and of course learning more every day in this AI world that we live in.
In case you missed it, we had an amazing AI workshop last week where eight amazing women came together in a room and created brand content engines.
I am so grateful for the feedback and the overwhelming support that people have been giving me regarding these sessions, because that’s the point: bringing women and people together, frankly, and enabling them to use tools that help them accelerate their business.
If you got FOMO or wish you could have been there, fret not. We’re having a part two next week because we realized that everyone wanted to continue to work together and flesh out some more of their branding. So come if you already came but feel like you didn’t finish the work, and if you’re new here, I’ll walk you through step by step how we set everything up.

LET’S CHAT THE CHISME
Business & Marketing News
Spain beat Argentina at MetLife on Sunday, and the brands that won the final were the fast ones, not the official sponsors. Adidas quietly supplied both teams’ kits and owned the moment no matter who lifted the trophy: own what everyone is looking at instead of renting a spot beside it.
An AI agent named SivaClaw just ran its own company’s $100 million fundraise, fielding 130 investors and drafting the memos while the founders stayed home. The bot did the volume and the humans kept the relationships and the final call.
Culture & Lifestyle
The internet has decided it is Hot Dog Summer, mascot courtesy of Jennifer Coolidge in Legally Blonde 2, and the merch, the nails, and the themed parties followed within a week. Watch how fast an unserious moment turns into a market, because the girlies who move first are the ones who cash in.
Ariana Grande’s new album and a new Spider-Man both land on July 31, and the internet already named the collision “Grande-Man”. Two fandoms turned a shared release date into one event, which is the free lesson: a rivalry can be the marketing.
Tech & Leadership
Instagram is pushing episodic Series and rolling its app onto living-room TVs, betting you will build a show, not just post. The creators who turn scattered reels into a followable series own a habit, and a habit is worth more than a viral spike.
Microsoft cut 4,800 roles and swore they were “not being replaced by AI,” while admitting AI is changing how the work gets done. Read between the lines: the tasks a stranger could do are going first, so the work only you can do is the whole job now.
The Bigger Pattern We Are Watching
Ownership Over Attention
Something shifted this week, and it is showing up in the World Cup, the group chat, and the layoff headlines all at once. The people winning are not chasing the most attention, they are owning the thing the attention is pointed at.
Speed is a moat. The brands that won the final were the fastest to react, not the ones who paid the most to be there.
Let the machine do the volume, and guard the judgment, the taste, and the relationships for yourself.
An owned audience beats rented reach. Build the followable series, not the one-off reel that spikes and disappears.
Culture moves on a loop, so the trend you skip today comes back later with a price tag you could have set.
Every AI layoff headline rhymes: the work a stranger could do goes first, and the work only you can do becomes the point.
THIS WEEK’S MOOD

Quietly missing the random meet ups around the World Cup and bar chaos.
Deep in opportunities, partnerships, and AI every day.
Full heart over the eight women who built brand content engines in one room.
Already buzzing for part two, because everyone wanted to keep going.
ON THE BLOG
This week on the blog I wrote The Lazy Genius Method, the AI playbook I reach for instead of the one the feed keeps selling. The whole idea is simple: hand the busywork to the robots, and keep your voice, your story, and your taste fully human. This is the one I needed to write.
Grab your coffee and read the whole thing here.
ICYMTP (In Case You Missed The Pod)

This week’s episode is my conversation with Riley Gray, the marketing-agency founder who traded a life that looked right for one that actually fits.
It lands right on this week’s theme, because Riley’s whole point is that building a business is less about strategy and more about becoming the person who can hold the life you say you want. She talks about burning out in a career that looked successful from the outside, and the moment she stopped asking permission and just started, which is the exact pit-in-your-stomach decision most of us keep circling.
You can watch it on YouTube or listen on Buzzsprout, and it’s the perfect one for a walk this week.
Xx and muchos besos,
Victoria
P.S. Forward this to the friend who’s been “so busy” for three weeks straight. She’ll know why.
